Looking back at the academic year 2023/24

In the academic year 2023/2024, VŠE Information Centre was largely involved in the documentation, preparation and promotion of many events at the Prague University of Economics and Business.

Our regular agenda includes, in particular, the preparation of engaging social media content and the management of VŠE Event Centre’s Instagram account and VŠE Alumni Centre’s Instagram account. On social media we mainly share short videos from events, photo recaps and summaries of the events that students can expect in the current week.

Newly, in cooperation with VŠE Alumni Centre, we have started conducting interviews with interesting guests who are successful graduates of VŠE. Individual episodes can be found on the podcast platform Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

Which events could you see us at?

In the winter semester, you could meet us for example at the Welcome events, the school-wide talent competition Talent of VŠE, the autumn job fair ŠANCE or VŠE Representative Ball in Prague’s Lucerna. Among other things, this semester also saw VŠE Alumni Homecoming, the lighting of the Christmas tree by the Rector of VŠE and many other events that we promoted.

One of the most interesting experiences of the summer semester was the Discussion with the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola, which was well attended by those interested in meeting a representative of one of the leading bodies of the European Union. Furthermore, we were part of events such as VŠE Sports Gala Evening, the spring Job Fair ŠANCE or Alumni Bowling and VŠE Golf Tour. For all of these events, we provided promotional materials and promotions as well as their subsequent documentation, including the preparation and publication of reports from the events.
